Winter at Caerphilly castle, 2014, 30x40cm cm, Acrylics on canvas
I painted this when I first moved to Wales. This was such a lovely scene to capture. I do enjoy walking around the castle and enjoy watching the seasons change the dynamic. This large lake that is part of the moat is actually quite shallow and so regularly freezes in the midst of Winter.
