Logon

Allans rock, 2019

This is a lovely view and a poignant story. Where the big stone is standing there used to be a small row of terraced houses. This used to be the site of a small village, right on the top of the mountain. The village was condemned and there is little remaining to show that there was anything there. Under this stone are the ashes of some of the residents. I was asked to paint it as a commemoration to one of the families.
