Laugharne - where a poet imagines, 2018, acrylic on canvas
I painted the picture of Dylan Thomas's house after a day visit to Laugharne. I loved the patterns in the estuary and the significance of this site. I submitted it to the 2018 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. It was selected much to my total amazement! It was also snapped up on one of the preview nights. Many of my friends and family visited the exhibition that year. It was definitely my 5 minutes of fame.
